Renowned director and actor Assi Dayan was released again to house arrest at the 101 Diner in the South on Friday morning, a day after being jailed for trying to contact his former girlfriend who accused him of assault last month.
Dayan was imprisoned Thursday after his ex-girlfriend told police that he had telephoned her twice less than 24 hours after his release from jail the previous day, breaking the terms of his house arrest, which banned him from contacting her.
The complainant's lawyer said her client didn't pick up the phone to Dayan.
