Aviva Schalit, mother of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad, asked for her son's forgiveness on Tuesday, on his 800th day in captivity.
In an interview with Army Radio she said "I ask for his forgiveness that after so many days we havn't succeeded in freeing him."
"I take responsibility for that. I don't know if it's a personal failure, but we're not succeeding in getting him back."
"There's no progress at all and we're in the same spot that we were in before… we're not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel," she added.
