Barak belatedly calls Livni to congratulate her on primary victory

Defense Minister Ehud Barak belatedly called Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni on Thursday afternoon to congratulate her on her victory in the Kadima primary. Livni also spoke with Public Security Minister Avi Dichter and Interior Minister Meir Sheetrit, two of the rivals she defeated in Wednesday night's vote, and was expected to talk to the third, Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz, later Thursday.
