Barak orders Gaza crossings closed following recent shelling

Following the Palestinian Kassam and mortar shell fire at Israel Tuesday morning and after consulting with security authorities, Defense Minister Ehud Barak ordered the closure of the border crossings between Gaza and Israel.
The closure applies to the humanitarian supply planned for later Tuesday as well, Barak's office said.
