Border Police forces caught a vehicle carrying 17 illegal Palestinians west of Afula on Thursday.
At first the van was allowed to pass since the Border Police mistook it for a police vehicle. Later the driver aroused their suspicion and they initiated a pursuit.
The driver and passengers were taken in for an investigation, Israel Radio reported.
