Dichter warns against impulsive responses to rocket attacks

Public Security Minister Avi Dichter on Monday warned against impulsive responses to rocket attacks from Gaza.
"Wiping out two or three [terrorists] is a response which will just lead to more rocket fire," said Dichter during a Kadima faction meeting.
"The response to the Hamas attacks must be planned. The IDF and the Shin Bet [Israel Security Agency] must give responses that create a deterrence," he said, adding that shutting off electricity and closing crossing "does not stop terror."
