MK Gilad Erdan (Likud) expressed confidence on Monday that Israel Beiteinu would join a government led by Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu. Speaking to Israel Radio, Erdan stressed that portfolio allocation would only be discussed after the president had decided who to entrust with building the coalition. On Monday night, a top Israel Beiteinu official said party leader Avigdor Lieberman would demand the Defense or the Foreign Ministry.
