Foreign Ministry sends planeload of aid to Kenya

The Foreign Ministry has sent a planeload of aid to Kenya, including three tons of medications and medical equipment for Kenyan hospitals to be used to treat people injured in the recent riots, it was reported Monday. The Israeli Embassy in Nairobi will transfer the equipment to two hospitals in Nairobi and one in the western Kenyan city of Kisumu. Eight hundred kilograms of equipment was donated by the International Distribution Program of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.
