Four people were killed and several others injured in two separate car accidents early Saturday morning. Near Shiloh in the West Bank two cars collided head-on. Magen David Adom teams that arrived on the scene pronounced them dead. Another man was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem. Several Palestinians who were injured were evacuated to a West Bank hospital. The car, en route from Jerusalem to Ariel, swerved and collided with a Palestinian taxi on the opposite lane. In a separate accident near Bat Yam another person was killed. He was driving southward on the Ayalon freeway. Near the Yoseftal interchange he smashed into a wall. Paramedics on the scene pronounced him dead. The reasons for the collision were being investigated.
