High schools throughout the country will hold regular classes on Friday, teachers announced on Thursday.
The teachers representatives were meeting with the Education Ministry to discuss whether the teachers would renew their ongoing strike on Sunday.
Ran Erez, the head of the Secondary School Teachers' Union, told Israel Radio that at present, no progress has been made in negotiations.
