IDF prosecutors pressed charges on Tuesday against a Lieutenant-Colonel whose army-supplied personal laptop computer, containing confidential military files, was stolen two months ago, Army Radio reported.
Due to numerous similar incidents in recent months, Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen.
Dan Halutz forbade taking computer outside of IDF bases.
The IDF has also stopped purchasing new laptop computers.
