The Labor Party will hold its leadership race either at the end of May or the beginning of June, members decided during Thursday evening's Labor central committee.
Labor Secretary-General Eitan Cabel authorized the compromise for the disputed date, proposed by Infrastructure Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer.
The decision, which is not yet final, will be voted on later in the evening.
