National Infrastructures minister: Demolition not way to solve problem of unauthorized W. Bank homes.

National Infrastructures Minister Uzi Landau (Israel Beiteinu) on Tuesday harshly criticized the state prosecutor, following a High Court ruling that called on the state to dismantle several homes in the unauthorized outpost Hayovel near the West Bank settlement of Eli.
During a tour of the outpost, Landau said that the prosecutor is "impermeable to human rights," Army Radio reported.
"The state sent these people here and supported them; demolition is not the way to solve the problem," the minister reportedly added.
Landau met with residents of the outpost and promised to take immediate action on the issue.
Last week, the High Court of Justice gave the state four months to hold hearings for the residents of 12 illegal homes in Hayovel and six in the nearby Haresha outpost, preliminary to carrying out demolition orders issued against them four years ago.
The court asked the state for a report on the progress of the hearing in four months' time.
Among the residents of the illegal homes are the widow and two young children of Second Lebanon War hero Maj. Roi Klein.
