Livni 'sorry' about Mofaz's decision to quit

Newly-elected Kadima leader Tzipi Livni convened her faction Friday for the first time since her primary victory and expressed regret for the decision by her opponent, Shaul Mofaz, to take a break from politics. "I am sorry about Mofaz's decision and that he is not with us today," she said at the party's Petah Tivka headquarters. "I expressed my desire in our conversation to work with him. Mofaz needs to continue to contribute to the government and the Knesset."
