Labor MK Yuli Tamir on Saturday criticized Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman for telling a German newspaper that he does not see Syria as a peace partner because it supports Hamas and Hizbullah. "Netanyahu's government proves time and again that it is being held hostage by Lieberman who drags Israel into dangerous regional conflicts," Tamir reportedly said. According to Army Radio, Tamir said that "Within one month as foreign minister, Lieberman has managed to create a crisis with the EU, US and Egypt, and now he is heating the atmosphere with Syria."
