Northern police have arrested a man who defrauded tens of thousands of shekels from businesses by pretending to be former Hapoel Tel Aviv footballer Rifat (Jimmy) Turk. The suspect, who he bares a striking resemblance to Turk, would obtain the money by promising to give the companies advertising space at football grounds, police said on Tuesday.
