One killed, three seriously injured in accident

One person was killed and three were seriously injured in a fatal car accident early Wednesday afternoon. A private car and a commercial vehicle collided at Otzem Junction on Route 35 next to Kiryat Gat, trapping the injured passengers inside the private vehicle. Emergency rescue services succeeded in freeing the trapped victims. One woman was killed. The driver and passengers in the commercial vehicle were unharmed. The intersection was closed to traffic, and drivers were asked to find alternate routes.
