Palestinian officials say Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will meet Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday, shortly before Olmert leaves for Washington for talks with US President George W. Bush. The officials spoke Friday on condition of anonymity as no official announcement of a meeting has been released. Olmert and Abbas last met on May 5. Olmert's spokesman Mark Regev said the two leaders would meet soon but would not say if the meeting would take place before or after the Washington trip. The Palestinian officials also said that US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice would come to the region on June 10.
