Palestinian sentenced to life for killing Israeli Border Police officer

The Military Court of Samaria on Wednesday sentenced Palestinian police officer Na'al Ya'asin to life imprisonment and an extra sentence of 30 years for murdering a Border Police officer.
The Palestinian was on a joint patrol with Israeli Border Police soldiers in October 2000 when he killed one of the soldiers and fled the scene.
The IDF claims that Ya'asin continued to engage in terrorist activities after the murder.
