At least seven Palestinians were wounded by IDF fire on Tuesday evening, according to Palestinian reports. The shots were apparently fired after engineers commissioned by the Defense Ministry to work on the Gaza border fence came under sniper fire. IDF troops who were guarding the workers reportedly launched artillery shells towards the source of the fire, on the Palestinian side of the fence. Gaza medic Muawiya Hassanein said that the IDF was preventing rescue services from evacuating the casualties. The IDF was yet to comment on the reported incident.
