Peres: 'Barak disappointed Hamas twice today'

President Shimon Peres spoke of the Kassam rocket and mortar barrage on the south of Israel Thursday, saying that "Defense Minister Ehud Barak disappointed Hamas twice today." He went on to explain that Barak had disappointed the Islamic group both by not reacting to provocation and by not ceding to an agreement that did not include the return of captured IDF soldier Gilad Schalit. Peres was speaking at a Haifa Technion ceremony, during which the wife of captured IDF reservist Ehud Goldwasser was presented with her second degree. Goldwasser was captured by Hizbullah almost two years ago.
