Labor Party Chairman Amir Peretz on Thursday morning rejected the efforts of fellow party members to convince him to announce Ehud Barak as a candidate for Defense Minister before elections later this month.
Peretz told Army Radio: "I have no problem meeting with Ehud Barak, but there's no way I will give in to pressure. We have a wonderful representative."
