Police: Skull found in Golan did not belong to known missing persons

A skull and bones found in the Golan do not belong to missing persons Guy Hever, Dana Benet, or Majdi Halbi, police confirmed on Tuesday. The remains were uncovered by IDF soldiers during a navigational exercise on Monday. Guy Hever, an IDF soldier, went missing in 1997, and was last seen in the Golan army base where he served. Dana Benet disappeared in 2003 after completing her shift at a Tiberius restaurant where she worked. Majdi Halbi, a Druze IDF soldier, was last seen in his home village Daliat al-Carmel in 2005.
