Police scrambled a community patrol car to the home of a mother of three from Tel Aviv and arrested her on Monday after she threatened to "put an end" to her children's lives. The arrest comes after police have vowed to take every sign of risk to children by their parents with the utmost seriousness, in the wake of three shocking cases of children killed by their guardians. On Monday, a man called the police after hearing his neighbor threaten to kill her children, saying he was afraid the children would not survive the night. The children in question are a five-month-old baby girl and a five-and-a-half-year-old boy. The woman also has a third girl, although the neighbor said the mother did not threaten her. The woman told police that criminals were attempting to harm her. A background check revealed that she had a psychiatric history and suffered from personality disorders. The woman is expected to undergo tests to determine whether she is capable of caring for her children.
