Pope Benedict XVI was set to visit the Western Wall and the Temple Mount on Tuesday, as part of his five-day tour of the region.
The pontiff arrived in Israel on Monday. He spoke at Ben Gurion International Airport before flying to Jerusalem by helicopter, where he visited Beit Hanassi and Yad Vashem.
