The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court extended the remand on Tuesday of a man accused of severely beating his three-month-old son.
The Jerusalem resident allegedly bit, pinched and hit his son after the baby disturbed his sleep.
The three-month-old is in critical condition in Hadassa Ein Kerem Hospital, where doctors say he has a minimal chance of survival.
The man was remanded for a further six days.
