Knesset State Control Committee chairman Zevulun Orlev said Monday morning that the committee was expected to approve an order that would force Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to appear before them, Israel Radio reported.
Olmert canceled his participation in the discussion that was set to take place on Monday regarding the state comptroller's report on the prime minister.
Orlev said Olmert was "spitting in the Knesset's face" and avoiding a discussion that was uncomfortable for him.
