Over 900 Israelis are at least 100 years old, while over 23,000 have passed their 90th birthday, Israel Radio reported on Monday.
The figures come from a study published recently by the Center for the Study of Aging at Haifa University.
According to the study, in 2006, the life expectancy of the average Israeli man was 77 years, while the average Israeli woman will reach 82 years.
