UN Middle East Envoy Alveran de Soto blasted Israel's decision not to transfer funds to the Palestinian Authority following the induction of the new Hamas-led Parliament.
In his statement on Monday, De Soto called the steps "futile" and "haphazard" adding, "The funds belong to the Palestinians and it is illegal to block them."
