Ukrainian girl disappears from ship sailing from Cyprus to Ashdod

An 18-year-old Ukrainian girl went missing while on the Magic 1 cruise ship sailing from Cyprus to Ashdod, police said Monday.
The young girl was employed on the ship as a waitress. Police are examining the possibility that she committed suicide or was thrown overboard.
Ashdod police said that since the incident occurred outside of Israel's territorial waters and because the girl was not an Israeli citizen, Cypriot and Ukrainian police were investigating the matter.
