From February 12 to 15 the Performing Arts Center in Herzliya will stage a whole host of romantically themed shows starting with French Kiss, which is designed to convey a Parisian ambiance, and stars veteran singers Tilda Rajuan and Avi Toledano.
The two chansonniers will entertain the audience with a lineup of romantic golden oldies such as “Autumn Leaves,” “La Bohème” and “Natalie.” And while Rajuan and Toledano do their thing the members of the audience will have their aural entertainment augmented by a backdrop of shots of the picturesque alleyways of the French capital taken by Yoel Shtrog. Other singers on the Valentine’s Day roster in Herzliya include David D’or, Yasmin Levy, Avraham Tal and Gidi Gov, who will perform romantic works from the Israeli songbook.
There will also plenty of nonmusical entertainment, featuring poet Ronny Somek, while sexologist Dr. Iris Bar On will present a humorous slot about relationships and sex in Israel.
