Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat stressed on Monday that no document has been signed between Israel and the Palestinians, despite numerous press reports.
In an interview with Army Radio, Erekat said that "the subjects [of Jerusalem, refugees and borders] did come up in conversations between [Prime Minister Ehud] Olmert and [Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud] Abbas. Negotiation teams will try to formulate documents [denoting a] position. But nothing has been agreed upon."
He added that during the Abbas-Olmert meeting scheduled for Wednesday, the two leaders are expected to discuss how to reach an agreement on those three core issues.
