A Hercules airplane belonging to the Iranian army crashed into a residential area in Iran's capital of Teheran Tuesday afternoon, Israel Radio reported.
Some 10 crewmembers and 80 passengers were reportedly on the plane.
Iranian rescue workers were at the scene treating a large number of injured.
