Iranian rebels threaten to execute 16 abducted policemen in video

A pan-Arab television network on Friday aired a video from an Iranian terrorist organization threatening to execute 16 Iranian policemen abducted about a week ago. The Sunni Muslim Jundallah group has demanded that the Shiite Iranian government release its detained supporters by next Friday or the policemen will be killed. The video aired on Al-Arabiya television showed the 16 policemen in uniform kneeling before the camera in a mountainous area with tears in their eyes. Jundallah kidnapped the policemen last Saturday after Pakistan handed over four senior members of the al-Qaida-linked group to the Iranian government. The terrorist group claimed responsibility last year for killing 11 members of the elite Revolutionary Guards in southeastern Iran.
