Iraq: US soldier killed by roadside bomb

A US Army soldier was killed by a roadside bomb south of Baghdad on Saturday, the military said. The explosion occurred at about 4 a.m., heavily damaging the soldier's vehicle in a military convoy, the US command said. The name of the Multinational Division-Baghdad soldier was withheld pending notification of his relatives.
