Palestinian Authority Minister for Prisoners Affairs Ashraf Ajrami said Thursday night that he did not rule out Fatah forcibly regaining control of Gaza but only in the event of a popular uprising against Hamas rule. During a conference in Ma'aleh Hahamisha, Ajrami also said that if a peace deal is signed between Israel and the Palestinians the Palestinian people will turn against Hamas. The minister warned that Hamas was cooperating with al-Qaida and that it sought to establish Islamic rule in the PA.
