Palestinians on Monday held demonstrations throughout the Gaza Strip to mark the Two-year anniversary of Operation Cast Lead.

The border with Gaza has seen a surge in violence in recent weeks, with rockets and mortar shells being fired into southern Israel from Gaza and Israel responding with airstrikes against terrorist targets in the Strip.
