Saddam Hussein's chief lawyer walked out of court Monday after the chief judge rejected 12 defense requests, including allowing foreign attorneys to attend the hearing without prior court permission.
"I inform the court that I'm withdrawing," Khalil al-Dulaimi told chief judge Mohammed Oreibi al-Khalifa, who responded by appointing attorneys to defend Saddam.
