An employee of a Tel Aviv nightclub suspected of being involved in the rape of two teenage girls there last week turned himself in on Tuesday.
The suspect is an employee of Allenby 44, where two girls told police they were raped by a number of employees after they drank to unconscious.
The owner of the bar and another suspect arrested on Monday both insisted the sex was consensual and that the employees thought the girls were adults. The owner was not at the bar at the time of the alleged rapes, but is suspected of obstruction of justice.
The case was opened on Sunday when the two 17- year-old girls were found lying unconscious in the early morning on Yona Hanavi Street. After paramedics treated the girls, one of them told police she believed that she had been raped at Allenby 44.
Police said on Monday that the two girls arrived at the bar already somewhat intoxicated, after the bar was closed, adding that they had been there before and were acquainted with the employees.
According to police, the staff gave them free drinks until they were unable to stand up or fight back, and then one of them was assaulted on the dance floor, and the other in the bathroom.
Police are looking for at least one more employee of the club suspected of being involved in the assaults.
