Koren triumphs again at Ga’ash

Just one month after scoring a hole-in-one Albatross in the July Monthly Medal at the Ga’ash Golf Club, Tomer Koren returned to take first place in Tuesday’s August Monthly Medal with a one-over par gross 71.

Just one month after scoring a hole-in-one Albatross in the July Monthly Medal at the Ga’ash Golf Club, Tomer Koren returned to take first place in Tuesday’s August Monthly Medal with a one-over par gross 71.

Koren played the Ga’ash front nine in an even-par 35 strokes, notching an eagle, six pars and two bogeys. On the back-nine, hecarded a one-over par 36, which included two birdies, four pars and three bogeys.

In the A Division, Steve Taylor, Raphy Harroche and Greg Elliot all finished atop the leaderboard at net 74, with first place going to Taylor followed by Harroche on the count-back.

Rafi Thein won the B Division with a net 71 followed by Avraham Levy on net 72.

The C Division was captured by Rotem Yakir with a net 63 followed by Reuven Avital with a net 72.

Nearest-to-the-pin prizes, sponsored by the Greenfield Restaurant at Ga’ash, went to Avraham Levy and Meyer Iny.
