Dudi Sela squandered a superb opportunity to advance to the semifinals of the Ordina Open in the Netherlands on Thursday, losing 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 to world number 866 Raemon Sluiter. The 24-year-old, ranked number 47 in the world, will now turn his attention to Wimbledon, which begins Monday. Meanwhile, Ivan Navarro upset defending champion David Ferrer 6-4, 6-2 in a match between Spaniards to reach the Ordina Open semifinals. Ferrer didn't convert any of his five break points in this grass-court tuneup for Wimbledon. Benjamin Becker of Germany, who beat top-seeded Fernando Verdasco in the second round, also advanced to the semifinals by edging Michael Llodra of France 7-6 (6), 7-5. Yanina Wickmayer of Belgium set up a semifinal with Francesca Schiavone by cruising past Kristina Barrois of Germany 6-1, 6-1. Schiavone also had little trouble in her quarterfinal, beating Olga Govortsova of Belarus 6-1, 6-3. Virginie Razzano followed up her defeat of top-seeded Elena Dementieva by beating defending champion Agnieszka Radwanska 7-6 (5), 7-5 to reach the semifinals of the Eastbourne Championships on Thursday. A French finalist was guaranteed as Marion Bartoli defeated Anabel Medina Garrigues 6-1, 6-4 to set up a meeting with Razzano. Caroline Wozniacki is the only seed remaining in the women's draw after the sixth-seeded Dane swept past Ekaterina Makarova 6-3, 6-2. Wozniacki will next face Aleksandra Wozniak, who took just 45 minutes to oust former-finalist Vera Dushevina 6-1, 6-0.
