Shahaff, Gitlin, Deitch win Jan. medals

January’s monthly medals were awarded at the Ga’ash Golf Club on Tuesday.

In the A division, Zalman Shahaff scored a well-played gross 79, and with his 9 handicap won with a net 70.

In second place was Yuval Harrari with a net 73.

In the B division, Eli Gitlin and Yerucham Shafat both finished with net 71’s with Gitlin winnng the trophy on a count out.

The best net score of the day came from David Deitch in the C division with a net 65 followed by Harry Brodie on a net 67.

The nearest to the pin prize went to Yossie Folkman.

The Ga’ash golfers are now looking forward to the continuation of the Mondays tour, which is to be held at the end of the month.
