Shahar Pe'er was knocked out at the quarterfinal stage of the Prague Open on Friday, losing 7-6 (5), 6-2 to Klara Zakopalova.
Pe'er, who was seeded second in the Tier IV event, paid the price for her poor serving on Friday. She was broken seven times during the last eight encounter and won just 41 percent of the points on her serve.
Top-seeded Vera Zvonareva reached her fourth final of the year by beating fourth-seeded Katarina Srebotnik of Slovenia 6-2, 6-4 on Saturday in the semifinals.
It was the fourth career victory of the 13th-ranked Russian over Srebotnik, all in straight sets.
Zvonareva, who is seeking her first WTA Tour title this year, will face third-seeded Victoria Azarenka of Belarus in Sunday's final.
Azarenka advanced to her fourth career final by defeating Zakopalova 6-3, 6-2 in their first encounter on the WTA tour.
Zvonareva won her two previous matches over Azarenka, both on hard courts in Indian Wells and Luxembourg last year.
"But [that was] absolutely different," Zvonareva said. "[This] is a clay court. We'll see what's gonna happen tomorrow."
Zvonareva has won five WTA titles, while the 26th-ranked Azarenka is still waiting for her first.
"[Zvonareva] is in a very good form now," Azarenka said. "I'll have to do my best to beat her."
