According to the data, 252 Arab citizens lost their lives in 218 incidents of violence and crime this year, an increase compared to 2024, when 230 people were murdered.

The suspect, whose name is under a gag order, is believed to have killed a mother and her son in their apartment in Yokne’am Illit.

The 25-year-old from Ramle was found with penetrating wounds after an apparent conflict in the city. He was taken to Shamir Medical Center in Tzrifin, where he was pronounced dead.

Following an investigation, the suspect will be brought before the court for a remand hearing, as well as a request by relevant authorities that he undergo a medical evaluation.

"We will utilize every measure in order to stop the raging crime," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.
