The new law will be "the strongest anti-illegal immigration legislation in the country," according to the governor's office.
"I will not shy away from saying we have a problem with people exploiting [our] generosity, breaking our laws and undermining our system."
The operation also included briefly detaining drivers who drive wildly and endangered people's lives.
A reporter asked Biden during the press briefing if he thinks that migration is a human right, to which he replied by comparing illegal immigrants to Jews fleeing Nazi Germany.
