US President Donald Trump’s Middle East peace team met with Jordan’s King Abdullah II on Monday in Washington.The 45-minute meeting took place at the Jordanian ambassador’s residence and briefly touched on the administration’s upcoming effort to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the officials said. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, US special representative for international negotiations Jason Greenblatt and the president’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner all attended the meeting.Kushner and Greenblatt have led a two-year review of US policy toward the conflict and what direction the administration should take going forward as it seeks to broker a comprehensive settlement. They plan on releasing a detailed list of proposals sometime in the spring or summer.
