IDF chief visits Gaza border troops

Gadi Eisenkot emphasized the professional and responsible actions of the brigade will continue to prepare them for any possible developments.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot visited the Gaza border "Fire Foxes" unit to assess the situation on the ground on Sunday.
Eisenkot met with Israeli Southern Command Major General Herzi Halevi,  the head of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) Major General Kamil Abu Rokon and the commander of the Gaza unit, Brigadier-General Yehuda Fuchs.
The IDF chief surveyed the area and toured the base.
Eisenkot expressed his appreciation for the way in which the division has operated in the face of the various challenges over the past five months.
He emphasized that the professional and responsible actions of the brigade led to many achievements and will continue to prepare them for any possible developments.
