Shots fired, Palestinian woman arrested after running at IDF troops

A large number of security forces were dispatched to the West Bank Hashmonaim checkpoint near Kalkilya on Saturday morning following reports of an attempted terrorist attack.
The initial investigation into the incident revealed that a 60-year-old Palestinian woman failed to stop at the checkpoint despite being instructed to do so by IDF soldiers.
As the woman continued to quickly approach the soldiers on foot, they fired their weapons in the air to warn the woman to stop, at which point she fainted and was subsequently arrested.
No weapons were found during a body search.
