Beit Lessin is offering free tickets for residents of the South to all its main-stage productions at Beit Lessin on Rehov Dizengoff in Tel Aviv through the end of January. Beit Lessin actors are also performing for Sderot residents in their various shelters.
Meanwhile, the Israel Opera is offering free passes to the Canadian dance company La La La Human Steps from January 12-14. In addition, the Bible Lands Museum in Jerusalem is opening its doors to southern residents free of charge until January 18. The museum is also giving out 10 free tickets to its tribute to Simon and Garfunkel, which is happening January 17.
Presentation of ID is required to receive all of the aforementioned benefits.
Plus, a large event is being held on Monday for the children of the South at the Jewish Agency's plaza in Jerusalem. About 1,500 youth from Sderot and the surrounding areas are expected to attend the 11 a.m. happening, featuring singer Shai Gabso and Jewish Agency Chairman Ze'ev Bielski. The kids will then tour Jerusalem.
