"Berlin Jaffa - Short Transit" from the Israeli De De Dance Company and the Berlin-based Wee Dance Company is returning for a series of performances mostly in Israel's provincial towns from March 4-21. The twist is that in each place there'll be a community project with some students from the various local dance schools. Over the last six months De De met with these students, gave them new insights and taught them new material from both the Israeli and the German companies. Participating students will also take part in the performance in their town. Additionally guest choreographers, dancers and companies will also join the tour in various places, such as Renena Raz, Sahar Azimi and the Nadine Bommer Dance Company. There will be shows in Kadima (4/3), Or Yehuda (5/3), Upper Nazareth (7/3), Jerusalem Ma'abada (8/3) Karmiel (16/3), Herzliya (18/3) Kiryat Gat (19/3) and at Suzanne Dellal in Tel Aviv on 21/3.
